“Master your destination” – Valuable experiences sharing

The Talk show “Master your destination” jointly organized by the project “Be confident being a teenager” and the Office of Career Counseling, and Edison University & Career Counselling (UCC) took place and filled with emotions by the stories diligently shared by students of Edison High School.

During the talk show, the 7th grade students listened attentively about their seniors’ learning path with remarkable achievements. How to map the pathway, learning journey, and how to choose and practice a career will be a practical guide and a source of inspiration for students of the next generation.

The way the senior students giving advice, answering Eddie’s questions and sharing about their career choice process showed their truly maturity, poise and pride of their choice.

Pham Song Linh, Edison student of 2021-2024, currently at grade 12, who has achieved 50% scholarship from Japanese International University and many other scholarships from overseas shared that all of his achievements have come from the good start, effective learning path with careful analysis, and the resilient determination to his goals.

Do Tien Dung, Edison student of 2018-2021, won scholarship for 30% of the tuition fees of Games Design and Programming at BUV emphasized that staying focus helped him reach the destination more effectively. Being focused on the goals, the destination and sprint phase with a strong will is vital.

Do Viet Hoang, Edison student of 2019-2022, won scholarship for 30% of Marketing Administration at BUV affirmed that he was also struggling to find a suitable major for himself, so his goal was determined later. However, once you have a goal, you need to put effort into it and deploy it effectively to achieve it. Viet Hoang also advised Eddies to learn from experience to figure out their destination.

Ho Ngoc Bao Han, Edison student of 2020-2023, 25% scholarship at Swinburne University, Vietnam, currently studying at Academy of Journalism and Communication majoring in Mass Communication, believes that each of us always needs to make efforts to study, actively participate in school activities and especially those related to their future career direction. That contributes to cultivating your dreams and also helps to gain more experience and practice.

Over 1 hour passed with many interesting stories about the years studying at Edison’s red brick school. The new and exciting experiences at the universities shared by the senior students really brought a lot of excitement to each Eddie and pride in each teacher. Wishing the Eddies keep on flying high, flying far and achieving a lot of success in their journey.
